When World War II broke out, the United States enacted the Lend-Lease Act from 1941 to 1945. Supplies were supplied to the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, China, France and other Allied nations, and in particular, the United Kingdom received huge supplies in exchange for providing bases to the United States. These trousers were born under such circumstances, and are historic trousers manufactured by the United States military from the battle trousers used by the British Army.
The "WA" on the label stands for WAR AID. The two buckles attached to the waist, the belt loops for a wide belt, and the asymmetrical pockets of different sizes on the front and their positions give them a unique taste of the British Army that is not found in the American military.
